Question: I have been having a severe sharp pain in my hip even when im sitting and when im trying to sleep. I havent hurt myself. What could it be? Should i go to the doctor?

1.Since when you are having this pain?
2.Did you had any injury or sudden weight lifting?

I havent had an injury. And it hurts at rest and increases with any movement. It is sharp and it started about three days ago.

I have studied your case and I think it is most probably muscle pull. Since this is present since 3 days I think it is muscle pull. I would suggest you to follow these steps.
1.Hot water fomentation
2.Tablet Etoricoxib or voveron one daily.
3.Volini gel local application
4.Avoid squatting, sitting cross leg.
