I would be worried as well. However, we don’t have sufficient information at this time to think we would need to go back for further exploration. If you fail to improve, we would do an X-ray to see if some of the bottom parts of the tooth are there and whether there is need for further management or not. For now, these bits were most likely in the mouth as rinsing the mouth alone would not be able to penetrate deep enough to dislodge any possible remains of the tooth.

Motrin seems a week medication for 2 extracted tooth. I would have expected a more potent drug. For now, I will recommend you add tylenol at doses recommended by your pharmacist every 6-8hours to address this pain. When both medications are taken together, they are more potent and better at controlling pains.
