Brief Answer:
Common causes strain of the muscles, ligaments, or tendons in the groin, inguinal hernia

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
I have gone through your query.
It is difficult to comment on it without examination.
Few of the common causes include strain of the muscles, ligaments, or tendons in the groin area. An inguinal hernia, this can create a bulging lump in your groin area and cause pain.

How long you have been experiencing this pain, is there any bulge, is there any changes in scrotal swelling, is there any history of trauma or strain.

I would suggest you to get your self examined by the general surgeon for examination, evaluation and treatment.
Hope this helps.
I'll be glad to clarify any further questions.
Take care.
