Suggest Remedy For Sharp Pain In Spermatic Cord
Question: Hello I am 18 and last night I had sharp pains in my spermatic cord or bad defernas and a little bit along the testicle. I looked it up and most symptoms turn to testicular torsion and I have no way of getting to an ER. My right testicle has shrunken and I have no feeling down there at all but I have feeling in my left testicle. I woke up this morning with it no feeling. It was a little swollen last night. but now it's shrunken and no feeling. I am afraid my testicle has died due to lack of blood supply. The sharp pains are still in my spermatic cord or vas defernas. I am worried that I have torsion. It's too late and by the time I actually got a way to the hospital it'll be too late. What do you think it is? Thank You in advance.

Dear,
In case of Acute onset of Torsion of Testis, the testis is unlikely to shrink. The vascular congestion associated with impedance in venous return will lead to apparent increase in size of affected testis which is quite tender.
Exact diagnosis will depend on clinical examination and confirmed by Color doppler examination. I would suggest you to go to your Primary care Physician or ER at earliest without wasting further time.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
