Suggest Remedy For Spotting During Pregnancy

default
Posted on Wed, 28 Jan 2015
Question: I am 8 weeks pregnant. My last ultrasound was on Wed and looked normal.
Last night and this morning, i had the tiniest amount of red blood when I wiped (pin size). If I wasnt so focused, I probably would not have even noticed. That said, having had a missed miscarriage last year, is there a chance that the blood is a sign of something more worrisome?

Brief Answer:
Don't be worried. Normal thing. Follow advices.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

Don't be worried much. Your last ultrasound scan on WED was NORMAL. Mild spotting or bleeding during early pregnancy is quite common.

I suggest you to follow these things. You should AVOID heavy work, long journey, too much bending, ups & downs, sexual intercourse, uneven surface and high heal shoe.

You must take adequate bed rest, maintain genital hygiene, take vitamin and folic acid supplements. Do periodic check up to your doctor.

Hope, this information is quite helpful to you. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Regards,
Dr S Patra
