Suggest Remedy For Stomach Ache And Diarrhea After Eating Shrimp
Question: I ate some shrimp that was left over from dinner last Sunday, which had been in the refrigerator. About an hour or so later, I had a stomach ache and then, about 30 minutes later, I had diarrhea. Could this be a result of eating the shrimp? It smelled fine. However, I have had CDIF so I don't know if it's the CDIF coming back or just the shrimp or something unrelated.

I understand your concerns about the problem and related doubts. In my opinion it is due to leftover shrimp which you ate today. Because it has happened one hour after the eating, so it confirms the link between cause and outcome. However recurrence of CDIF can not be ruled out completely.
You need to visit your GP or any other physician available for prescription. You will require a course of antibiotic for 3 to 5 days. Your hydration status need to be monitored as it may lead to dehydration. Keep taking plenty of water and other fluids. Take ORS or if blood pressure is low, you may need hospitalisation for intravenous fluids.
