I need details
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Yes chances are there.
But usually bleeding occurs in people with cirrhosis. In case you have been drinking excessively for years you Can develop cirrhosis at this early age also.
Another reason for bleeding which is most likely in your case is severe chronic gastritis leading to small ulcers in stomach that can bleed.
Usually if your bleeding in your stomach you get black, tar like stools. So check that out. If you are getting then you need to attend ER.
If such issues come to me and my patient is stable, has no black stools, no pain in abdomen then I advise them to take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once a day initially for 3 days and then reassess.
So I would advise you to attend ER if you feel the vomiting is persisting or you get another episode of blood in vomiting or you get black , tar like stools.
Meanwhile if available you can take the above mentioned combination.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
