Question: Dear Dr.



My life is very stressful and complicated, over the past year. I always feel tired, not overly well, anxious and impatient most of the time. I am 71 and this has not been the case with me until recently. Could you offer some advice so that I might feel calmer. I am a very busy person with volunteer work and life in general.

You should make a routine and find time time to go for a walk.

Practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation.
Drink plenty of water, eat fruits and green vegetables more.
Ensure that you get a good 6-8 hours of sleep.

Some of these simple lifestyle modifications will help you.

If you are still anxious, antianxiety drugs like klonopin (prescription drug) can help.
