Suggest Remedy For Swelling On Elbow

Question: small knot about the size of my thumb came up on my elbow last Thursday. my arm is extremely swollen and hot on Friday I went to the doctor , he thought it might have been a spider bite but he said you could see the bite holes if it were a spider. Today is Tuesday and my arm is still extremely swollen and hot and very sensitive to touch.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.I think you may be having septic arthritis of your elbow as it is hot, swollen and extremely painful. You need to visit doctor preferably an Orthopedician to confirm it. It requires Antiinflamatory such as ibuprofen, antibiotics and rest and spintage of joint.Some times it may require immediate surgery in form of incision and drainage of pus specially if someone is also having fever.
