Question: I am experiencing tingling in my hands and feet. What could cause this?

I would surely like to address your concerns at the best here; but I need to know a few details before I can do that-
1) Since when you are having these symptoms?
2) Are these symptoms persistent or `episodic?
3) Any other medical illness-like Diabetes,Thyroid disorder or anything else?
4) Any addictions-like chronic alcohol intake?
5) What is your occupation?
6) Are you any medicines?If yes,please list them.

I started noticing these symptoms about a month ago. I usually notice it at night, and pretty much every night. I have no known medical issues. I have no addictions. I am retired. I am on a statin because of a stroke I had three years ago.

Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.

The symptoms appear to be those of peripheral neuropathy.Chronic statin use may be the cause.

I suggest you to undergo Nerve conduction studies,to look for evidence of neuropathy.
At the same time,looking for other important causes of symptoms is important,mainly Diabetes.So,please get fasting and post prandial blood sugar,done.

Meanwhile,symptomatic treatment with antinauralgic medicines and methylcobalamin,can be started.
