Brief Answer:
May be due to Enlarged Prostate .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you are unable to pass urine .This is mostly due to Enlarged Prostate which is common after the age of 60 years .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you have obstructive voiding symptoms like frequency for urination ,nocturnal frequency, poor stream etc over a period of last six months ?

Inability to pass urine is mostly due to bladder outlet obstruction due to Enlarged Prostate .

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital Rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.

If you have severe pain in abdomen and your bladder is full of urine you need to go to ER and get catheterized to empty your bladder and carry out investigations suggested

Taking Tomsulosin nce daily may help to help in passing urine .

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
