Brief Answer:
This is common and will settle down faster with medication.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. This would be due to dehydration and glossitis (tongue inflammation).
2. This is common. Keep your self well hydrated and start multi-vitamins (especially B Complex).
3. A local gel such as Orasep and medicated gargles will help. An anti-reflux medication and probiotics may be taken as XXXXXXX spectrum antibiotics tend to alter the normal bacterial flora in the throat and gut.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.

Avoid too much Gatorade. Nexium, Vitamins fine. Probiotics.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for writing back.
1. Avoid too much of Gatorade as it has a lot of sugar. Water and warm soups are the best.
2. Nexium and B Complex Vitamins are fine.
3. Probiotics should be available OTC as sachets and capsules. These help restore the gut flora.
4. These tongue fissures require no active treatment. It may take a few weeks to completely subside.
