Suggest Remedy Fro Purple Coloring And Pain On Ring Finger
Question: Hi. I have a purple ring finger that hurts really bad. It is also numb. The hospital i went to said Raynaud possibly. I can't get a doctor to just do a test, change medicine, just do something to find out what is going on. I have been in pain for 3-weeks, saw 2-doctors and 2- PA. WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?

Hello,
I have studied your case. In Raynaud disease there is spasm of the vessel and so blood supply to finger is not going properly. In this case your finger become blue and cold. You should see a Orthpaedic doctor or a vascular surgeon as soon as possible. Raynaud's disease can be treated with both medicines and surgery. Usually I advised following treatment in my patients.
1.Hot water fomentation and warm gloves.
2.Gentle rubbing of finger improve circulation.
3.Tablet Amlodipine one daily.
4.Tablet Propranolol one daily.
In cases where medicine is not effective than we can try small surgery also. In this small nerve around finger supplying blood vessel is cut. Results are not always very great, so I think you should prefer these medicines.
