1) Avoid scratching.
2)Apply cold compresses.
3)Oral antihistamin should be taken k]like benedryl daily 1 tablet at night.
4)Tylenol can be taken for pain.
5)A steroid shot will greatly reduce spread and worsening.
6)Antibiotics will help I would suggest you to keep on using them/
7)It might take 3-4 weeks in a few people to heal up specially if you didn't take banedryl in start it might take longer than expected to resolve.
8) If blisters open, do not remove the overlying skin, as the skin can protect the raw wound underneath and prevent infection.
9) To ease the itch, take short, lukewarm baths in a colloidal oatmeal preparation, which you can buy at your local drugstore. You can also draw a bath and add one cup of baking soda to the running water. Taking short, cool showers may also help.
10) Hydrocortisone cream may also be discussed with your doctor it might speed up the recovery.
