Suggest Remedy To Deal With Frequent Fainting Spells
Question: I have a condition which I believe to be proctalgia fugax for last 20 years which up to now has occurred during night time. Recently onset has occurred during the day which can be extremely inconvenient as I am at risk of of fainting in addition to the debilitating pain which may last 20 minutes or so. Is there an anti-spasmodic Drug or other drug which would be effective in reducing symtoms?

3)Drugs--Less effective,the pain resolves before the drug's action mostly..
But Hyoscyamine sublingual,nitroglycerine sublingual tablets,and drugs belonging to short acting benzodiazepines(lorazepam) can help reduce the pain in your case,as pain episode duration is prolonged to some extent.
I would advice you to discuss this with a nearby doctor preferably gastroenterologist for drug prescription.
