Suggest Sulphur Free Medication For High Blood Pressure

Question: I have Lupus and need a blood pressure medication that does not have sulfa or sulfide in it. I am allergic to Norvasc, all antibiotics, flu vaccine, ASA, And ansiads.

I am so sorry to hear about this lupus and the high blood pressure. It will be nice to make sure that they are not related. As for a drug, given your several allergies, it will be good to careful review and monitor closely after initiation of treatment to make sure there is no allergy that is being missed.

I will also recommend the service sod a cardiologist. For a possible drug free of sulfa/sulfide, I will recommend the class of drugs called beta blockers. The most commonly used drug here is propranolol. Talk to your doctor and get this validated for use.
