Suggest Tests To Diagnose Missed Abortion

Question: hi sir,
i am 42 years old and my last period is on 11 aug 14.daily ,i am taking folvit 5mg and tab duphaston 10 mg twice in a day,one in the morning and one in the evening.Weekly once i am taking susten 100 mg injection,till now i have taken two times.i went for scanniing on 04 aug 14 doctors told that bulky appearing uterus with subcentimeter fibroids uterus shows missed abortion of gestational age 7w 4d.whether it s too early to say missed abortion or shall we go for one for scanning.we donot what to do ?

I suggest you get another ultrasound scan done now to reconfirm the missed abortion.

You have mentioned last scan was on 4th August. Hence get a scan done now. If it still shows missed abortion stop all drugs you are taking.

the doctors to whom we are visiting has told us to get it done in a week time.what is the reason behind,we are not getting heart beat because of slow growth or any other reason ?
