Question: Hi,
My bone density T score is -2.75 should i need to worried about my bone health if yes then how can i strengthen my bone and what are the best sources of calcium.
Please suggest.

Hi,

It is by an obsolete method called ultrasound method, which can only be used best for the screening of suspected age group.

I would suggest that you get DEXA bone scan if you have bone pains, fractures, etc., but at your age Bone densitometry is generally not required.

I would rather suggest you get your vitamin D3 level checked. If it is low then get vitamin D supplementation regularly.

Best way to strengthen your bones is by regular exercises only. Milk and its products are the best natural source of calcium. Again at this age (24), I would not advise any calcium supplements.
