Question: Hi, I was prescribed Hydromet for coughing at night but it is not helping at all. Can I take a second dose 1 hour after first?

Well it depends on how much dose you have taken first time.

Also taking a second dose within 4 hours shall not give any help ( unless the first dose is low )

I recommend you to do salt water gargling 3-4/ times a day, drink hot water, avoid non veg food and avoid citrus fruits.
