Brief Answer:
Change in medications required
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The medications suggested by your doctor are not appropriate for your baby. Most likely cause of these symptoms can be streptococcal pharyngitis. I would recommend you to go for her throat swab culture, CBC, CRP. You may start her on following treatment thereafter:
1. Cefixime drops (100mg/ml) 0.5 ml twice daily
2. Maxtra drops 0.5 ml thrice daily. It will help in cough and cold.
3. Crocin drops 1.2 ml for fever spikes more than 100 degree fahrenheit. Repeat after 6-8 hours if required.
Avoid Meftal P for her.
You may upload the reports for my reference so that I may advise you the most appropriate management.
Take care
