Brief Answer:
15 is not an effective dose

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Although Mirtazapine is good antidepressant but the effective dose in most individuals is 22.5 to 45 mg. I do not understand why only 15 mg was continued when you had no complete response. In my view talk to your doctor, preferably psychiatrist, to increase mirtazapine to 22.5 mg at bed time.

Most depression episodes last 9-12 months and few of them last for 6-9 months. In nutshell a single episode lasts for 6-12 months.

As suggested earlier it is important to complete the course otherwise there remains high risk of relapse.

I understand your search from alternative medicines, like homeopathy, but nothing exists there which can cure your condition completely.

To conclude ask your doctor to increase the dose of Mirazapine and continue the medication as prescribed.

I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.

Thank you for your valuable response, i forgot to mention-previously I have asked you one question date April 14th -- "My doctor prescribed me duzela 30, for night fall and depression, I have taken this tablet for 3 months once at bed time, perfectly cured this problem, after I stopped taking this duzela 30 feeling heavy head and tingling in head please give me advice. I don't want to take such type medicines, can it will cure without such medicines, and How long it will take to be normal without taking medicines.? Please advice me." .

After that my GP start treatment on depression with mirazep 15. In last month dose was increased 1+1/2 mirazep15 but due to blur vision it reduced to 1.
I am feeling 90% good now from start date of treatment.
And one thing I want to share that - I want to get married in coming April.
How long I have to take the treatment.?
Or other medicines are effective in my case.?
Is it curable ?
Every time susidal thoughts are coming please help.

Brief Answer:
I do not think you can cure without psychiatrist help

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

I am well aware of your last question four months back and the dots now can be connected to conclude that sudden withdrawal of Duzela lead to relapse of depression. I guess you should have cured the condition by now but your own thinking created mess and still there is 10% symptoms left.

It will be not wrong to say that alike other medications, psychiatric medications are needed to treat the psychiatric medication. I understand that there are many myths prevalent in the society but this follow these myths ultimately suffer in their life. The fear of the medications unlikely to help you in any regard.

The only other option to cure depression is cognitive behavior therapy. The therapy lasts from 8-12 weeks in most patients. You need to search a therapist for the therapy in your city.

I hope this helps you further.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
