Hello, and thanks for your question.
Yes, you can increase your Gabapentin. Under supervision, the dose could be as much as doubled. This will help with sleep for certain.

SO I could take more neuron tin if needed? My Doc is not returning my calls and she is very far away. I was just there last week. I am having insomnia now so I am frustrated. No sleep is bad news for us bipolar folks. I don't want to end up at the hospital.
Thanks for your help. I also take ativan, 3mgs at night. Is it better to increase the neuron tin?

Yes you can take more neurontin if needed. There should be a doctor covering for your regular physician if she is out. I would suggest increasing the neurontin rather than the Ativan because neurontin is not addictive and should get the job done.

SO I took five 300mgs pills of neuron tin and slept very well. Do you think that 1800mgs is safe to take?

Detailed Answer:
No, do not increase anymore without being prescribed such doses by your psychiatrist. It is not safe to do so unsupervised.

I tried to follow you on these links and have had no luck.
Thank you for helping me!
I took only two extra neuron tin pills and slept fine. I really needed to sleep. I worry when I don't get enough sleep. Insomnia is bad news. Thanks for your help/ I will follow up with my regular psych doc asap. The weekend just makes things difficult.
