Brief Answer: You will be helped, its your basic right, no worry Detailed Answer: Thank you for asking! ADHD is psychiatric condition and it needs regular follow up.Now the reason for your life being messy is because you never had follow ups in last five years. Now that you have moved to indiana you should seek a psychiatrist's help. You have the right to be helped for ADHD and you will be so you have nothing to say to them. You need not just medicines but cognitive behavioural therapies, psychosocial intervention and a competent psychiatrist. Stay compliant in future to the medicines, and follow ups and your life won't be a mess any more. You should sign up to some group therapies for people having ADHD.
