Hi
Thanks for posting your query at HealthcareMagic.
There can be many causes for non-alcoholic fatty liver like obesity, diabetes, dyslipidemia, bacterial overgrowth in intestine, some medicines, etc. So these should be ruled out.
In precautions kindly take cleaner drinking water from RO system (avoid mineral water and tap water). Eat home cooked food. Avoid fatty foods like sweets, cakes, pastries, cheese, butter, ghee, and other milk products. Milk and curd can be taken in moderation only. Take more of fresh fruits. Always wash hands before eating and wash the fruits and salad before eating. Syrup Liv 52 1 tbsp a day can also be taken to strengthen the liver. Exercise regularly atleast 20 min a day. Exercise can include walk, yoga, cycling, swimming, gym etc. Though it is not associated with alcohol use but alcohol should be avoided. It is good you are non-alcoholic.
Vaccination against hepatitis a and b should be undertaken. Screening for hepatitis virus can also be undertaken. Follow with 6 monthly liver enzymes. Avoid medicines that can damage liver like pain killers, paracetamol, antibiotics etc.
Nothing much to worry about but take care of the precautions. It is still in reversible phase i.e liver will regenerate. It may progress to cirrhosis in a few cases which is irreversible damage of liver.
Hope it helps.
