Management of XXXXXXX disease
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic
XXXXXXX disease/ Transient Acantholytic Dermatosis(TAD) is characterised by skin eruptions.
The response to treatment very greatly from person to person.
The most important factor in avoiding development of new skin eruptions is to prevent sweating. Always stay in cool temperature to avoid sweating. Use loose fitting garments.
Keep the skin moisturized. Use moisturizing lotions containing aloe and vitamin E.
You can also apply Hydrocortisone 1% ointment to help with itching.
Using selenium sulfide containing cream/shampoo can also help prevent outbreaks.
Continue minocycline as prescribed.
If the above mentioned measures fail to control the disease, then more potent oral retinoids, oral corticosteroids needs to be tried.
Hope this answers your question
