Question: Hi,

I was diagnosed with H. Pylori infection with Gastritis after endoscopy done in September 2014. I was put on H. Pylori kit for 2 weeks. However, the doctor mentioned that H. Pylori is not very significant.

In Second week of July 2015, I had black stools with loose motions and black stools continued for 2 days but I had felt so much of weakness and fatigue for about 2 weeks. Black stools disappeared after 2 days. But I felt continuos gas and burping. My stool examination of occult blood and Heamogram with blood culture was normal. Doctor put me on Nexpro 20 with Domstal 10mg twice a day. My ultrasound (whole abdomen) and ultrasound (KVD with PVR) were also normal. Urologist started flotral for 3 months due to low urine flow found in uro-flowmetry test.

For 2 weeks, I had evening mild fever (99.2) for few days and headache. My Chest X-ray was done but it is normal. I was also given Augmentin duo and then cepodem 200.

I started etoshine tablet one day which created dull burning pain in my stomach which remained there for 2 days until I was given Tramadol with pantocid.

I feel bit fatigued now but things have improved except I felt very frequent burping and gas problem. I am taking Pantocid DSR now.

Please guide me what should I do. Is it due to H. Pylori infection? Also suggest suitable treatment.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Follow the measures as described, symptoms will decrease

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
I have gone through your query, continue to take Panticid.
I would suggest you to avoid Eating fatty food, carbonated beverages or eating gassy foods.
Eating too quickly, drinking through a straw, chewing gum or sucking on candies, resulting in swallowing air that may present with this. Avoid smoking.

It is better to take time while you eat and drink, eat more vegetarian food, those which have fibres and avoid meat for a week or so and check if there is any change.

Yet , again I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,

Brief Answer:
pantocid dsr for week.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Good to hear from you.
Most of the time it is due to eating habits, so i would suggest you to follow the above measures, it will be helpful.

A urea breath test checks to see if you have H. pylori bacteria. It can be done.

I would suggest you take pantocid dsr for week and see if there any improvement, if not than urea breath test can be considered.

Hope you have got something helpful from here.

Take care.
