Question : please see the attached picture is this herpes or did I get a really bad fungal infection? doesn't hurt just itchs and there has been no discharge.

You are concerned that you may have herpes. You have included an image of the area of concern. From your image I do see what look like small blisters. These are very concerning for possible herpes infection. To be sure that this is herpes I recommend that you seek medical attention. Your provider should take herpes culture of the area and start you on antiviral medication while you wait for results.
