Question : Hello Doctor, My daughter age is 9 months. She gets KLEBSIELLA OXYTOCA in urine. Please suggest me what is medical treatment? It is possible to cure this bacteria.

Brief Answer: Yes cure is possible Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for writing to health care magic. From your report I can see the organism is sensitive to only three antibiotics : polymyxin , imipenem, netilmycin. All the three be give intra venously only. It's better to visit nearby hospital and take these injections on opd basis or inpatient basis. Minimum 5 days treatment is necessary. Regards Dr Arun
