Brief Answer:
Surgery will help if cysts are persistent.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
In case of PCOD, abnormal cysts are formed in the ovary which inhibit the normal ovulation. If the cysts are persistent then it is best to go for surgical drilling to remove the cysts. After that the chances of normal ovulation increase and there are better chances of conception.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
The treatment given is correct.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
I have seen the attached report. Both the ovaries have a dominant follicle and ovulation is seen from both the ovaries. In these circumstances surgery can be avoided and you can try for natural conception. The medicines that your wife has been prescribed are correct and these will help in formation of healthy eggs.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
Acne and hair fall are due to PCOD.

Detailed Answer:
Once the conception happens, the chances of abortion due to PCOD are not there. As soon as she is pregnant it is best to consult your gynecologist for proper treatment to avoid abortion.
The acne and hair loss are due to hormonal disturbances due to PCOD. If her hormonal disturbance improves and she conceives, both these problems will also decrease.
Regards.
