Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Polycystic ovary (PCOS) is a condition with symptoms ranging from Absence of menses to fewer menses, excess hairs in face and body, putting on excess weight.
You can get transvaginal ultrasound scan done to diagnose PCOS.
Unfortunately there is no permanent cure through medicines or natural.
You need to keep weight in check by regular excercise and diet.

I am not over weight.. slightly under weight maybe.. No excessive hair growth but my menstrual cycle is irregular.. but it's always been that away. I had done a scan last year and the diagnosis said "symptoms suggestive of PCOS" and was asked to take birth control pills. I haven't taken any and did not really take it seriously. However I've been having spotting for almost a month now and wondering if it's because of this.
Brief Answer:
PCOS
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Spotting is not because of PCOS. it could be because of minor hormonal variations.
OCP does not cure PCOS. It only regulates menstrual cycle as long as you are on pills.
