Question: I have polycystic ovaries. Both my ovaries are bulky. Vol 12.07 cubic cm and 5.78 cubic cm of right and left ovary respectively(as per last scan done in march) . Last month I have gone for iui but dint concieve.

In this cycle I will again go for iui. After 6 days of HUMOG 37.5 ML INJECTION my follicle size is Ro msf 3-8 mm and Lo msf 3-7 mm( scan done 8th day of cycle) . my endometrium thickness is 3.6 mm and of type 2 .

What does msf and type 2 mean? What are my chances of getting pregnant this month? Is follicle growth is normal? Is it PCOD or PCOS?

Brief Answer:
PCOS

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

You seem to have PCOS. It is possible that you ovulate late. Please continue follow up scan with your doctor.

As of now follicles are growing slow. Endometrial thickness is also less.

But it's just 6th day which is very early. Continue the medicines prescribed. Your follicles will slowly grow and ovulate.

You have good chances of pregnancy.

Please let me know after a week. We will see Endometrial thickness and follicle size.
