Suggest Treatment For PCOS
Question: Hi Doctor,
As suggested by you currently, I am using Ova grace plus for PCOS. However, I am facing following problems and request you to suggest.
* feeling more hungry and having more food
* during periods, severe stomach ache
* Put on more weight, 2 kg in a month after doing exercise
*Today, I observed that hair growth on my face

I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
These are the symptoms of PCOS and are unlikely to be the side effects of the drug ovagrace plus.
Since PCOS is due to insulin resistance, it can lead to increased apetite and weight gain.
Hair growth on face is also a feature of PCOS.
I will suggest you to get an oral glucose tolerance test with 75 gm glucose to confirm the insulin resistance so that further treatment can be modified accordingly.
Pain during periods is indicative of the fact that the cycles are ovulatory and that is a good sign in PCOS.
You can take meftal spas for pain relief.
