Suggest Treatment For Raynaud's Syndrome
Question: I have read recently that Toprol should possibly not be used for HBP in the elderly. Toprol 25 mg and Lasix and Hydrochlorthiazide I'm currently taking. Higher dose of Toprol gave me sever Raynaud's Syndrome. Daytime sleepiness is a real problem and the BP currently runs in the 187 over 80 range. I'm on the second two lead pacemaker and have had ablation. Cold hands and feet together with daytime sleepiness make me want to get off Toprol. Do you have an opinion or do you have a suggestion for a 94 year old in good shape for another drug? I'm looking for an opinion based on your experience with Toprol in someone who possibly has had a number of negative drug experiences.
