Question : My daughter was recently diagnosed with Tay Sachs disease. There is no cure, she is 2 years old. What can I do to help her? Is there anything that can help break down the GM2 in her brain? Please help.
Brief Answer:
Tay Sachs
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
This is, as you know, a very difficult diagnosis. There are early intervention programs available in most places that could be very helpful for you and your daughter. I recommend consulting with your doctor about these, and about a good Pediatric neurologist.
