on Monday they just did a catscan came back inflammation urinary tract infection with hematuria site. Last night they did an ultrasound said the liver was slightly inflamed. My blood work came back good was in pain around the belly button up to spleen to right side. The only thing they told me was liver slightly inflamed. That's all I was given trying to find discharge papers the pain is not as intense today just the feeling of air in stomach and wanting to throw up. Will try to find the paper work.My urine was still showing infection
Brief Answer:
No direct connection b/w UTI & liver
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for getting back with the answers. Urinary tract infection has no direct link with liver pathology. On the other hand there is possibility that there is some preexisting liver pathology going on. To confirm the current status of liver you can undergo Liver FUnction Test(LFTs). This test will confirm the liver status and further management can be decided upon the results..
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
