Suggest Treatment For UTI
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi again
I have read your other query and it seems that you have been diagnosed with Klebsiella infection. I have also read that you have a history of recurrent urinary tract infections. You should be investigated for low immunity.
Both bactrim and ciprofloxacin are used to treat it. Ciprofloxacin is better at killing this bacteria. I would suggest that you get a culture and sensitivity of urine and take antibiotics according to the sensitivity report. Please talk to your doctor if he can prescribe this test for you again.
Keep faith in bactrim for now. UTI should get better with it.

Brief Answer:
Its possible
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
5 days have elapsed since you are taking antibiotic and you have nitrites in urine. Nitrite test has its own limitations. It suggests presence of bacteria in urine which are converting nitrate into nitrite. But this test may come back positive because of some foods as well. If we can see bacteria in urine upon microscopy or culture and sensitivity then that is a more accurate test.
If your symptoms have resolved with macrobid then most probably it is working.
Hope it helps.
