Suggest Treatment For UTI

Question: im 31 yr f, i got UTI since 4 days doc prescribed antibiotics and syrup to flush out bacteria. i had pain at the end of urination. gyno precribed me this without testing my urine. today i got my periods which is regular. i have light brown discharge not red. is anything wrong? did i get my periods or not?

Greeting,

If you are feeling better with antibiotics, please continue at least for 7 days.
If not discuss with your doctor to do a culture and sensitivity of urine and then take antibiotics.

You may be having some pelvic infection which also causing brown discharge that may also get corrected with the antibiotic.

Please make sure that your partner is not having any infection or else will need treatment simultaneously.

i got my regular periods i think no issue. iam continuing the medication precribed by doc. im feeling better related to UTI. but i have got fever.. also i had cough and cold since 3 days. the fever is because of UTI or is it general one like cough and cold??

Which antibiotics you are taking?
It could be urinary infection. The antibiotic should take care of fever also.
It all depends on severity of infection and antibiotic you are taking.
