Brief Answer:
It should subside within 5-7 days

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for choosing this platform

I have gone through the detail and do understand your concern.
Bump following trauma can occur due to accumulation of blood below the skin.In mpst pf the cases no treatment is needed and it takes usually 5-7 days for complete subsidence of the bump (time taken for the blood to get resorbed).
I won't get overly worried if the child is not complaining for anything and there is no loss of conciousness, vomiting, abnormal body movement or excessive irritability(signs of internal brain injury).
I suggest you to observe the baby, wait for the resolution of swelling and if you find any significant abnormality, please get him evaluated by a pediatrician.

I shall be glad to help you out if you have any more doubt.

Brief Answer:
Nothing specific is needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for follow up

As said earlier most of the hematoma(bumps) resolves on its own without any specific treatment.

Thrombophob gel/ointment (Heaprin sodium,to dissolve the blood) is suggested to apply locally in case of hematoma that is enlarging or if there is associated signs of inflammation like redness/tenderness.
I would suggest you to keep the patience and wait for the resolution of swelling.

Regards
