Question: For the last 3 days I have a bump on my head... no discoloration, Only hurts when I lie on that side. Now this morning I have a similar bump on the side of my forehead. No signs of a bite. Should I seek medical help right away?

Brief Answer:
See the result or an antihistamine, see a Doctor if no results

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Bumps on the scalp / forehead without an obvious cause and discoloration can be due to angioneurotic edema.
Such bumps usually settle on their own but occasionally take time to resolve and may need an active treatment with an antihistamine and oral steroid if needed.

Also needed is to have an actual examination by a Doctor to know the exact cause. You may need prescription based medications as per the cause found. You may try an antihistamine like Benadryl or so and see for the results. If this does not settle with it, it is better to get an opinion of a Doctor.

I hope this answers your query and helps you get an exact cause and effective treatment.
