Suggest Treatment For A Growing Skin Infection On Inner Thigh

Coverage of infection by antibiotics and then removal of polyps
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.
I can understand your concern for the small polyps on thigh of your wife for ten years and now presently getting leaking pus.
It appears from your query that your wife has got secondary infection over the affected area and that's why there is pus discharge from the particular area.
In all such cases it is always better to get an antibiotic treatment by a doctor and preferably an dermatologist.
Thigh area is quite prone for friction and is moist area so can get secondarily infected. It is quite common to get recurrence of such lesions and again become infected.
In my patients I generally go for coverage of infection first and once the infection has subsided then go for removal of polyps by simple radio-frequency. It is a very simple procedure and requires only few minutes with any stitch or bandage.
So I suggest you to meet a dermatologist (preferably female dermatologist) to get the infection covered and then the polyps removed.
Till the time you meet a dermatologist you can give her an anti-inflammatory medication such as diclofenac or paracetamol for one to two times and can apply an antibacterial cream such as mupirocin or gentamycin.
I hope this information's will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.
"Wish you good health and early recovery from the problem"
