Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain After Taking Rabeprazole

Question: I have abdominal pain. I take Rabeprazole for acid reflux for five years. In the last couple of months, I have tried to stop taking it, but after two days I have abdominal pain. However I wasn't trying to stop it now. When I first started taking it, I would have pain in my throat from reflux, but absolutely no stomach pain. So I don't know why I have it now, or when I try to stop taking Rabeprazole.

Hello,
I looked up Levosulpiride, on the Internet. It said it is an anti-psychotic. What does that have to do with acid reflux?
Hi,
I am taking Cipralex 5mg, Abilify 2mg, and Wellbutrin 300mg.
I have been taking Cipralex the longest. For five years. I want to change to a different anti depressant, that won't cause weight gain, hopefully.
Would you recommend one? I have tried Seroquil, and it didn't help, but causes tremendous weight gain in me. Also Risperidone didn't work.
Thanks-you,
XXXX
How long can a person stay on Rabeprazole? I've been on it five years.
Also I want to have my throat and stomach checked, but will not get an endoscopy, can you recommend something else?
Thank-you

Brief Answer:
Levosulpiride can be taken safely.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I request you to go through the literature of levosulpiride completely.
It is used mainly as Prokinetic agent though it is an anti psychotic.
Instead of levosulpiride, you can take Rabeprazole and Domperidone Capsule.
I have been using these combinations for few years to my patients with good results.
Regarding anti depressant tablet, I request you to consult a psychiatrist.
There is no time limit for Rabeprazole.
There is no alternative to upper GI ENDOSCOPE for visualization of throat and stomach.
Hope I answered your query.
Regards
