Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Indigestion While On Treatment For Hepatitis B Infection

Question: Please i need urgent help. I was diagnosed for Hepatitis B late last month though my further result signifies i don't need treatment for now but due to my persistence i was placed on Livolin, but then i was getting burning sensation with the livolin which makes me so curious and i asked my friend who runs a laboratory test to check through my blood stream and he later found out i have Microfilarae Parasite on my body because i also complained about body itching and muscle twitching. I went to my doctor who placed me on banocide and i changed from Livolin to Liv.52 which seems to be okay because i no longer feel pain on my right side. But i was more concern about losing weight and i decided to start doing gym workout and i overdo my abdominal and am feeling pain and my foods are not digesting very well, I eat 4-5 times in a day but since i over do my abdominal my stomach is a bit swollen am not feeling pain on my right just the lower part of my stomach and i can't eat very well though am hungry but i don't want to have a big stomach.. Does liv 52 or livolin kills HBV .. Please advice.

I understand your concern and situation.

Firstly let me tell you Hepatitis B and Microfilaria are unrelated. You have taken banocide forte which contains diethycarbamezepine and must be taken for atleat 2 weeks 5 days per week. This will cure you from filaria infection. Now coming to your hepatitis B problem I must tell you levolin or liv 52 are just tonics for liver and do not kill any hepatitis virus. I advise you to take rest and no vigorous exercise is allowed for another 6 months as it may cause pain. I saw the reports the good thing is the HBe Ab is positive meaning your body is responding good as antigen is negative and liver functions are normal. But you must remain in follow up and get tests done. You do not need any hepatitis antivirus drugs as per your present reports. You recovered from hepatitis B infection which is due to blood transfusion, intercourse related or needle prick related, etc. You must avoid oily food, eat protein rich healthy and balanced diet with multivitamins and calcium supplement along with liver tonics like liv52.

Thank you so much. Do i really need calcium supplement, i have Immance and am taking that with Liv 52 and vitamin c... Can i take flagyl for my stomach pain?

Hi

Taking calcium is for strong bones and metabolism. No flagyl is for bloody amoebic dysentery. You can get microscopy of stool examination done to rule out worm infestation. In abdominal pain meftal spas is beneficial along with pantaprazole. Eat light diet for few days.

My doctor is tired of me but am having a pain in the upper part of my stomach very close to my rib, please what can i do.
There's a strange feeling i get when i put water in my mouth and close my mouth before swallowing it. It's always like the water is too cold for my lower jaw and and teeths...I also feel pain on my foot and finger tingling, when i touch my laptop trackpad or using my phone screen touch

Do not worry there is nothing serious. Just avoid exercises. It could be muscular or gastric pain which will subside in few days. Take multivitamins and calcium supplement. Pantaprazole will be beneficial one hour before food once. If it persists you may get an ultrasound abdomen done to evaluate the liver. Sometimes person post hepatitis complain of this non specific pain but it is not serious. I advise you to take rest for few days. Your other problems are unrelated to your past problems. Get an evaluation done by a dentist for oral problems. As far as pain on touching laptop is no disease it might be earthing due to electricity. There is no such disease in medical literature.
