Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Tenderness On Stomach

Right side
Abdominal x-ray should be done.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Colonoscopy is a safe procedure and usually does not cause any serious problems. However there is a tiny risk (lass than 0,1%) intestine perforation during the colonoscopy. Perforation is the only thing you should be afraid of.
Your symptoms do not point to perforation, however sometimes pain can be the only reason of it (especially if you have diverticles or the perforation is in tiny spot).
The other (much more probable) reason of your pain is gas entrapment in the large intestine. As you know, during the colonoscopy whole large intestine and some part of small intestine is filled with gas. Some patients will excrete this gas right after the colonoscopy, others will have abdominal pain for few more days.
For temporal relief you should try Buscolisine, Metamizole (smooth muscle relaxing medicines).
Consulting your doctor or ER is a good idea. Abdominal x-ray should be done to rule out intestine perforation.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
