Question: I currently take Pantoprazole twice a day and Sucralfate 4 times a day to calm small ulcers in my small intestine that was interfering with Plavix causing low Hemoglobin. Lately, I suffer acid, upset stomach about 2 hours after eating and diarrhea. What's going on? My last hemoglobin was 10.9, but I haven't had it tested for 3 weeks. I am still somewhat dizzy when walking.

Brief Answer:
Is diarrhea immediately after meals or even without eatng?

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It is unlikely that with this dose of pantoprazole and sulcrafate, you still have acid problems Acid problems are definitely not part of the equation at this time. The timing of your pain and diarrhea brings into question probably issue with your gallbladder. I will like to know if your gallbladder has ever been
evaluated and if not, I strongly recommend you start with it.

For now, I will recommend an ultrasound of the liver and gall bladder and we will take it from there.

Keep me updated about this.
