Suggest Treatment For Acidity
Question: I am facing lot of Acidi Problem from Last 7 years.

Hello XXXXXXX ,I would need a few more details before giving a satisfactory answer.
I would like to know
1whether yiou have lost or gained weight in the past seven years
2 Do your symptoms respond to medications?
3. Do you have heart burn or reflux symptoms?
4. Do you smoke, consume tobacco or alcohol?
5.Are you suffering from any illness like diabetes , thyroid and heart disease?
6 Have you ever had a endoscopy done?
If the answers to all these questions is no then I would suggested taking a proton pump inhibitor like esomeprazole for minimum 8 weeks and if your symptoms still persist the I would advice you to get an upper GI endoscopy done.

I would advise you to stop smoking and alcohol intake or reduce alcohol to less than 3 drinks per week. I would advice you to take Esomeprazole 40 mg for at least 2 months.Please consult your doctor to get a prescription.
I case your symptoms persist after 2 months I would suggest to get an upper GI endoscopy.
