Suggest Treatment For Acne

Question: Hi,
My wife is having acne prone skin. Since last week she has got an acne on her face. She is using FaceClin ointment and Acnestar face soap but they are not helping. Kindly suggest what needs to be done.

Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have reviewed the attached photograph.
I would recommend your wife to continue with acnestar soap and faceclin gel during the day time.
At night I would recommend her to apply gel containing combination of benzoyl peroxide and adapelene on the pimples and comedones in very minute amounts for 1 hour and then wash her face with plain water before going to sleep.
This should subside her acne.
Besides this ask her to avoid using cosmetics, avoid sugary foods, avoid hot humid weather and avoid scrubbing her face.
