Question: what is in store for a person who has adenocarcinoma that has spread to back, clavicle and legs. No organs nor brain have been found yet. This is a non-smoker who is a good friend and needs whatever support I can give to him. He is 54 years old. My email address is YYYY@YYYY

Brief Answer:
Show him love and be there for hom!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this adenocarcinoma which has spread to other parts of the body. Unfortunately, cancer of the lungs has a very poor prognosis. Most of the patients would not make it beyond 6months even with the best available care.

I will suggest that you stand by him and provide him with all the necessary moral, emotional and psychological support. He needs persons to be there for him. Adding life to his days and not days to his life as the days are not any many again.

In all, there is not much you can do other than supporting him in everyway you can. Show him love, let him know that he is loved and cherished. Be there for him and that is the best. You cannot make it any better than this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
