Suggest Treatment For Alcohol And Drug Addiction
E mohandas is the best psychiatrist to consult
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern for your son.
He seems to have alcohol and ganja dependence which is severe and chronic. After deaddiction he should follow up regularly for at least one year.
For any deaddiction person's will to leave the substance is the most important aspect. Motivational counselling is an essential thing.
Considering his history he might have psychological issues also.
He needs treatment by a psychiatrist.
Dr E Mohandas is very well known psychiatrist not only in XXXXXXX but also in XXXXXXX and abroad. You can consult him with help of following link.

forceful treatment will not give good and long term results
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for follow up and sorry for delayed response.
In few persons with substance use it is difficult to have deaddiction which can give good results.
In such cases first of all you (parents) should meet the doctor/psychiatrist who will be treating doctor. You should give detail history. After that ask your son to visit that doctor at least once. You can make him ready for that with help of a friend or any other person who is close to him and he obeys. After that it is doctor's turn. Doctor can check his motivation for deaddiction. Doctor may suggest second or third session a motivational counseling is going to help. When everything go fine, he can be admitted with his will and we can hope good outcome. If at all he is not convinced, other strategy is harm reduction. In which he is counseled to take the substance in a manner and quantity that can not cause much harm to him.
The best way is to bring him XXXXXXX either by going personally there or ask him to come with help of the person through whom you came to know about his situation.
In any case forceful treatment would not give long lasting and good results. First need is to motivate him for deaddiction with professional help.
take care.
