Suggest Treatment For Allergic Conjunctivitis
Question: Hi Doctor,
My one year old son is having water discharge from his right eye since today morning. When he woke up in morning his eye was very sticky. I have started putting Ciplox eye drop, two times till now but I don't see any improvement.
For getting him examined should I go to a pediatrician or eye specialist or can I wait for a day?

Brief Answer:
You need to visit ophthalmologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have gone though your question and understand your concerns. The symptoms are most likely due to infective or allergic conjunctivitis. You may continue with ciplox drops. If no improvement is seen in next 2 days or it increases in severity, you may visit an ophthalmologist for clinical evaluation and definitive treatment.
Hopefully it will be of help.
Take care
