Question: Hello doctor

My mother has skin allergy around her eyes and head with a lot of itching and redness

Please prescribe some medicine for the same

Hi.

Did she develop this after using a hair dye?
Seems to be a case of contact dermatitis to ?hair XXXXXXX

I would suggest a moderately potent topical steroid e.g mometaosne furoate (Elocon cream), twice daily for a week

An OTC oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10 mg once daily would provide her symptomatic relief from itching.
